Bye Bye, Grandma Written & Narrated by Teresa Chuc Bye Bye Grandma offers a glimpse into the internal journey of a young woman experiencing the loss of her beloved grandmother. From childhood in rural Saigon to adult working life in Los Angeles, CA, Teresa Chuc celebrates unique memories of her grandmother in a manner that is poetic and moving. The film was written and storyboarded by two friends in the catharsis immediately following the passing of Ms. Chuc's grandmother. The complexity of the experience is captured with tenderness & grace. Mr. Dowell's original brush animation is reminiscent of Chinese painting and western graphic novels. The film is engaging for viewers of all ages. Press Kit downloads: click here to download Press Release |
